New smoking laws hit the pubs in July 2007.

A local publican wanted a solution for outdoor heating, domestic LPG patio heaters were too expensive for this application, he decided to contact us for options, we suggested Sierra Commercial Overhead Cone Heaters as they run on natural gas to lower running costs (30-40% less than LPG bottle change over).

Our advice was to install three heaters. We found that they were the best option as the electric strip heaters did not let out enough radiant heat.

The publican was surprised how many patrons (50-60) spent time in the beer garden as usually it was far too cold, but now it is comfortable.
